Brinjal – Round (Organically Grown)


Brinjal widely known in Asian countries is also known as Egg Plant in USA, Canada, Australia and NZ. Most commonly purple, the spongy, absorbent fruit is used in several cuisines. It is widely used in its native Indian dishes such as Sambar, Dalma, Chutney, Curry and Pickled dishes. This fruit is rich in water and Sugar. It provides low amounts of essential nutrients, with only manganese having a moderate percentage.
People who are allergic to Brinjal have reported itchy skin or mouth, mild headache, and stomach upset after its consumption.
